Have you ever heard of the site called Tophatter? I hadn't until recently, but I've really grown to like it & would love to share it with you! 

What is it?

Tophatter is almost like an online garage sale. People from all over can buy and sell items, using an auction style platform. Don't worry if you're not into the whole "bidding wars" scenario. Offering both, bidding and buy now options, you get to decide to take a chance or play it safe! There's even a reminder option (to track your favorites)! Think, Ebay. Only more compact, and much easier.

The items for sale range from brand new to gently used. All listing have photos, and detailed descriptions of the item for sale. There's even a list of similar items for sale at the bottom of the item details page. This makes it so much easier to browse products, and find exactly what you're looking for!

How's it work?

Head over to Tophatter.com, and create an account--- It's free! 

Find an item you love. Bid on it, or buy it. Its super simple, and bidding is free! If you win an item, thats when payment is expected. Each bid extends the auction time by 10 seconds, so there's plenty of time to get your bid in!
Payments accepted are: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Android Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal.

With Tophatter, you will never pay more than the cost of the item (or bid amount) + any applicable shipping. If you find more than one item you love, click the heart icon. This will allow you to follow the items via reminders, and let you update your bids to win! There are no additional or hidden fees to bid or buy. It's so easy, and with so many deals--- It can be a bit addicting!

This site is user friendly, and offers a great options menu. Once you click the options menu, you see: sell, home, reminders, turorial, account, and search.

Set up a seller's account, and make money on Tophatter! Post an online auction. Include a starting bid amount, buy now price, shipping amount, and product details & photos. Once your item is sold & delivered, funds will be securely deposited in your account!

This button takes you back to the main page. It's the starting page, that lists current auctions & deals.

Reminders

This button allows you to view and manage all of your favorite items. You can place bids on open auctions, or remove past ones. This button make it easy to track the auctions you're most interested in!

Tutorial
The tutorial button takes you to a one page run down of the site. It also houses a customer service quick link, as well as a FAQ link.

Account
If you're looking for your account information, or purchase history, this is the button for you! It also features help & support links. *** Tophatter offers a share & earn program. Share your link, or friend code, and earn a $10 credit after each friend's first purchase!

This is self explanatory. Click the search button, to search for items by name, genre, or even shipping!

Telling time in style, on a budget!

If you're looking for an extremely masculine watch, at an amazing price---- You have to check this out! It has a nice, large face. Which is totally in style right now. It also has a super rugged, leather style band. The whole setup exudes masculinity!

As for mechanics, it's ridiculously easy to set, and keeps time perfectly. Plus, the hands are illuminated. This makes it so much easier to see in low lighting, and darkness. Its also relatively good on battery use, and easy enough to change out if need be. One thing I have to advise though: do not swim in this watch! It's ok for hand washing, and rainy days....

However, it's not made for swimming. Not only will the moisture damage the mechanics, but it will destroy the band. Water & chemicals in swimming pools are super harsh on leather style bands, and will deteriorate them quickly.

Overall, this watch is a big hit with the men in my family. My husband really likes it, but has finally conceded, and my son emerged the victor.

I received this watch complimentary, to test and review. My son has been dying to wear it ever since the box was opened! He put it on, and hasn't taken it off, except to sleep! Keeping time in a box.

My husband has so many watches, he doesn't know what to do with them anymore. So, I suggested a watch box. Its the perfect solution to his dilemma. Plus, my friends at Ohuhu, already had one heading our way...

This watch box is well made, and very beautiful. However, it is slightly smaller than other watch boxes. It features a leather look, with heavy stitching, and a clear glass window on top. The inside is lined with a cream color veloure material, thats not only aesthetically pleasing, but exceptionally soft as well. This, no doubt, is to provide a scratch free environment for your watches. Each watch holder is removable, and in the event you don't have 12 watches, can be taken out to provide space for other valuables.

This box looks magnificent while displayed. But functions just as well if you choose to keep it tucked away. I rather enjoy the look of it, and have become quite fond of using it for my watches, and other miscellaneous jewelry. I do wish the logo wasnt etched into the glass though, as it takes away from the overall visual appeal of the box. I received my watch box as a sample item for review, and I highly recommend it. It as functional as it is fashionable, and has become a staple item on my dresser.

A Touch of Dazzle, for a little diva!

Anyone who's ever had a 3 year old daughter, knows all too well how opinionated these tiny divas can be. In fact, if it isn't pink, sparkly, hearts, or flowers, it's not for her! My little girl is no exception. Some days I even wonder if she's not the reason the 2's and 3's are referred to as "terrible". But--- I can't help but love her, and her tyranic ways.

So, what's a better way to tell your threenager that you love her, than with jewellery? 

I got this super cute, gold plated bangle bracelet from A Touch of Dazzle, at a reduced price (to test and review). I knew immediately that my daughter would love it. She's obsessed with hearts, flowers, splarkles, and pink. This bracelet meets all but one of those criteria! Plus, it's just her size.

The bracelet is well made, and pretty sturdy. It is gold plated, so you will need to make sure it's taken care of... Or it will lose its lustre. The small flower charm that's attached is the cherry on top, and completes the overall look of the bracelet.

The clasp is a standard bracelet clasp, and has additional safety clips on each side. I like this, because it's been my experience that these bracelets have flimsy clasps, that break easily. The safety clips will help to secure the bracelet so it isn't lost if it breaks.



Overall, for a children's bracelet, this is a very impressive piece. It looks very expensive, and will last a long time if properly cared for. My daughter absolutely adores hers, and I'm positive any other little girl would be just as happy to have one of their own!

I've been looking for an "everyday " watch for my husband. One to replace the daily use of his dress watch. My husband is a bigger man, and smaller watches don't fit his frame well, so I was very eager for this to arrive. The watch is huge! It's definitely not meant for dainty wrists. It features all of the necessary functions: Time, digital & analog, including military time, alarm, stop watch, and it has a fantastic blue light that's accessible via button. It's also water resistant up to 30 meters, although I don't suggest swimming with it, due to the band being leather. The band is genuine leather, and its very thick, and stiff. It does take some use to loosen up, and become supple enough to be comfortable. This is my husbands new favorite watch, and it looks fantastic on him!

This is a beautiful, classy, antique style watch. It's extremely well made, and intricately designed. The band is nice and roomy, allowing this watch to fit any wrist. This Topwell watch is a rich red & black color, and is absolutely stunning when paired with any outfit! It is a standard watch, with no frills, but it does an amazing job of keeping time. My husband loves this watch, and wears it most often for church, and dressy occasions. I can honestly say that it's a great time piece, and would be an amazing gift as well!

I love this watch. It's very retro, and I adore the brown/black color combination. It's also a very durable, hardwood watch--- So, I expect that with care, it'll last a long while. This watch is also unique in that it's very easily dressed up, or down. It's perfect for jeans and a t-shirt, or even a suit and tie. The only drawback is the band. The band of this watch runs small, so it's definitely not suited for people with large hands/wrists. It would make for the perfect graduation gift, or even a Father's Day, or birthday gift. It's a great looking watch, and I absolutely love it! Honestly... I can't find any reason not to love this watch!
