Getting healthy in 2015; The Beginning.

I've made it my mission in 2015 to eat healthier, and exercise more. So far, I've failed miserably! I chalk it all up to laziness and serious lack of motivation. I've been clipping photos and articles of healthy foods, tips & tricks, and I'm finally making myself take the first steps on what is surely going to be an uphill  adventure.

I've decided to blog my journey, and incorporate the health and well being products that I review in my daily activities.  I think this will not only allow me to review the quality of an item and it's features, but also to show what has worked best for me. I'm hoping that my struggle to reach my weight loss and self health goals may serve as inspiration, if not guidance, for others who are in the same place with their health as I am.

New Year Ambitions

2015 is a year of changes & giving! I'm changing how I look at things, how I do things, and how I let things affect me! In addition to, of course, changing my body and my attitude!

I've started by bringing all of my favorite products to you, my readers, in some really awesome giveaways!

And Just the other day I cut ALL of my hair off, and donated it to make wigs for kids with cancer!

 

 

I'm also working on reducing the stress in my life, and being a happier person!

Lastly, I'm making changes physically--- I'm going to get healthy and stay healthy!!!

Scottie's Facial Tissue

I was very skeptical of these tissues. I'm a long time Puffs Plus girl, so switching facial tissue was HUGE for me! I was afraid these would be rough, and since they don't have lotion in them, I was seriously worried that my skin would dry out. I gave it a shot, and it wasn't all that bad! In fact, I think I like these tissues! They are fairly soft, and even though they don have lotion, they still feel almost like a lotion tissue... Minus the greasy residue. That's my one qualm with Puffs, the oily residue from the lotion! But, Scottie's didn't leave my face feeling like is just rubbed a stick of soft butter on it. I like that!!! I honestly think I've found my new favorite facial tissue. If only they Carrie the "with Vicks" line... Those are my absolute favorite when I'm sick!!!

Orajel™ Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment + Moisturizer

It's no surprise, I, like many others, suffer from cold sores. It's been a long battle for me. They're terribly irritating and extremely painful! I've tied tons of remedies and so far the best I've found is a combination of Campho Phenique and Orajel™ Single Dose Cold Sore Treatment + Moisturizer. Campho Phenique dries cold sores out, and below with pain... The Orajel Single Dose relieves pain and helps to keep the skin around the cold sore moisturized. These two products are Godsends for me. I think I've finally found a winning combination!!! I tried the Orajel Single Dose on my latest blemish, and within 24 hours it was feeling a lot better, and even seems to be healing already! These products don't claim to help with the healing process, but they do seem to be helping... Maybe once we eliminate the pain, our bodies can work faster to heal? If so, these products are doing their jobs!!! *** I found the Campho Phenique at a local grocery store, and the Orajel Single Dose was given to me free from Smiley360, for review purposes. 

Stress busting tips to help avoid cold sores this holiday season:

1	Rest: Schedule time every day to just relax your mind and body.
2	Sleep: Get your 8 hours a night with a regular bedtime routine.
3	Exercise: Combat holiday over-eating by keeping active. At the very least, get out and play in the snow!
4	Combat cold sores with Orajel Single Dose, as soon as you feel that first tingle.

Wet Ones

I received my wet ones review pack, and I am super psyched about it! I am a hand sanitizer fanatic!!!! These are great. They work well to clean your hands, and also leave your hands smelling fresh and clean. The tub is supposed to be a citrus scent, but to me it's a piña colada scent. I'm ok with that, it smells soooooo good!!!!! I also love the to go wipes, they're perfect for my purse, while the prepacked to go wipes are great for the console of the car, and diaper bag. Definitely loving these wipes! Thanks Smiley360 for the free product to review!!!!! 

EVER AFTER HIGH® Thronecoming™ Briar Beauty™ Book & Doll

Awesome!!! This product ups the ante on creative play, by providing props to fuel the imagination.
My daughter freaked out! She loves how the doll is articulated and easily posed. The clothing and accessories are well made and serve their purpose. The book "room" with props is a super clever idea!
The doll is well made, and the accessories and props are exactly that . Accessories and props. People complain about the quality of the add-ons, but don't realize that the props are jut extras. The doll and her accessories are what you're purchasing!
My kids love this product and are having an awesome time playing with it. I foresee us purchasing a few more of the EverAfter High doll kits in the future!!! We received the Briar Beauty doll kit complimentary, from Mattell, for testing and review purposes.

Dial - oil free acne control, deep cleansing face wash

This product is fantastic!!! I've recently started battling adult acne, an was at my wits end--- all of a sudden the sky opens and here is Smiley360 with a free acne product to review! I took the challenge, and I am so glad that I did!!! The Dial acne wash has helped to keep my skin clean and dried up my acne! My face is no longer a crazy, oily mess, and I can go in public with confidence again :) Thanks Dial and Smiley360 for saving my skin!!! 

Hello World!

I've decided that it's finally time to put all of my eggs in one basket! My hope is that this blog will help me to bring some sort of organization to my madness, as well as provide an access point for my followers! This will most definitely be a work in progress.
