Eye Pillow Vacation - Unscented Eye Pillow & Lavender Eye Pillow

If you have ever had a migraine, or if you are a long time sufferer of migraines... You know how painful they can be. You also know how long they can last, and how much stress and strain they put on your body.

I, personally, have suffered from migraines since I was a child. It's been a long struggle, finding something that soothes and relaxes me enough to ease the pain --- without having to take medications. The nightmare got worse when my 6 year old son started suffering from migraines as well. I was at a loss... Nothing seemed to help, short of vomiting and going directly to bed. I couldn't stand to see my child go through this as well! We have tried literally everything, and were finally feeling defeated when I saw this product on tomoson.com. It claimed to be able to help ease migraines, and relieve stress and anxiety. Plus, being approved to test and review the product via tomoson.com meant that it would cost me nothing! What did I have to lose?!? I mean, really.. My son and I have been battling our migraines (and anxiety) for 4 and a half years now, what could it hurt? What if it works?!?

I applied and was accepted... Hallelujah!

Now to see if they work...

At first, I was skeptical, because nothing ever works. EVER. My son, however, was hopeful. So, we each took our Eye Pillows, and conducted our own extensive testing.

I went with the lavender scented pillow, in a black organic cotton cover.

I chose lavender because I have heard that it is one of the best essential oils not only for headaches, but for relaxation, and anxiety. I have anxiety in the worst kind of way... At first I tried the pillow on its' own. It was very nice, and relaxing. I especially liked the weight of the flax seeds on my face. After, I tried spritzing with water and microwaving the eye pillow --- per the directions. This was an unusual sensation to me, but not unpleasant. The scent was stronger, and the warmth was exceptionally soothing. I waited a few days and tried the pillow cold. Again, per the directions, I put it in a zippered bog in the freezer for 2 hours. This was by far the most pleasant variation that I tried. The scent was faint, but definitely still noticeable --- it was also a cooler scent, and easier to breathe in. I also adored the feeling of the weight of chilled flax seeds on my skin much more than the unchilled. It provided amazing stress and anxiety relief for me, almost immediately! I found a winner! Plus --- It does help with migraines! I have tried it all three ways since my testing, with headaches etc. I still prefer the cold method, but all three do help with migraines as well as anxiety!!!

My son, was conducting his own testing during this time as well...

He chose the unscented, natural flax seed eye pillow, in the blue satin case.

My son does not have the same anxiety issues that I have (thankfully), but he does have migraines...
He also tried all three variations of his eye pillow. Room temperature, warmed, and chilled. He was not a fan at all of the warmed pillow, and said that it was very uncomfortable on his skin, and smelled of oatmeal. He can't stand oatmeal.. As for the room temperature and chilled options; he preferred the chilled over the room temperature. He said that when he gets his headaches, his face feels warm and he feels sick.. The cold helps to relieve the warm, nausea that he feels, and he is better able to relax and let his headache fade away. The room temperature doesn't bother him, but he much prefers the chilled version. The pillow does, however, help with his headaches! It doesn't cure them, but it helps him to relax and rest until they fade enough to be manageable.

There you have it... Two successful tests of both the scented and unscented versions of the Eye Pillo w Vacation;  Unscented Eye Pillow & Lavender Scented Eye Pillow.

My son and I, both, recommend these eye pillows to anyone looking for a non chemical reprieve from stress, anxiety, and migraine headaches! As an added bonus, these pillows are made in the USA.
