Sarah's Honest Opinion: This is What The Truth Feels Like...

Gwen Stefani is back, and better than ever! Her new album " This is What The Truth Feels Like" is by far her best album yet. The album portrays the vast expanse of Gwen's emotional angst, which is clearly outlined in each song. It's a very raw album, unlike anything we've seen from Ms. Stefani yet!

"This is What The Truth Feels Like" offers Gwen's traditional sass and range of vocals, but shows her emotions like none of her previous album's. Most people know Gwen Stefani as the front woman from No Doubt, or for her number one single "Hollaback Girl". However, her new album is very different from the iconic pop style music she's done in the past. It's much more adult, and really shows how she's grown as an artist as well as a woman.

My favorite tracks are "Misery", "Naughty", & "Truth".

"Misery" is about moving on. Feeling sorrow, being in that low place, and finding someone who takes you out of it. Someone who puts you out of your misery, and makes you happy again. It's an upbeat song, and inspires hope for those who are experiencing their own misery.

"Naughty" is a dark and catchy song that clearly outlines her disgust for the mistrust in relationships. This song defines infidelity, points a well manicured finger at it, and says it's naughty! Gwen's waggin' her finger at those shady bad boys out there, and the choice words she has for them sound so good!

"Truth" is a song about hope and moving on. It's a definition of her struggle to move on after her marriage ended. This is what the truth feel like, and it's full of unknown, amazing, & wonderful things!

I found the album to be very sad and intriguing, but also very hopeful & relatable. It's by far her best work, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
