Coupons have grown beyond clipping and cashing in at local retailers, and permeated online markets as well. You can use coupon codes and discount promotions to save online, and enjoy the same savings as you would in store. Yes, I know, this isn't news at all... However, until recently, there have only be a few places to find decent coupons and discounts online. Excluding retail promotions you've signed up for. I'm talking about discount databases, where you can browse sales and coupons by store or genre.
This is where my exciting news comes in. Groupon, the free online discount service, now offers coupons and sales! This is in addition to their already famous group and local discount offers, and their discounted goods program. You just slide the discount type selector on their website (or app) to the coupons category, and tons of fabulous offers and coupons pop up! Most of the offers are for online use, but there are quite a few online & in store coupons available as well.
If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can select specific stores to view discounts and coupons for. Below the store selection, you can even search by product genre! Say you're looking for discounts, sales, or coupons on shoes... You would select the "shoes" category. A list of discounts offered will populate on a new page. From this page, you can either select a listed discount, or slide the selector to in store or online, and view the sales and savings by coupon or discount type.
This is an amazing way to find discounts, sales, and coupons to use on every day purchases as well wells as product specific online purchases. It's also the most organized way, that I've ever seen, to search for & browse sales and coupons.
