Because they're 100% cotton, and have such high thread counts, they wick moisture away, keeping you cool! Synthetic materials hold the moisture and don't dry as quickly, leaving you hot and sticky... That does not make for a good nights rest!

I tested the 1000 & 700 thread count pillow cases (Ivory color), and was thoroughly impressed. The 1000 thread count cases were a little more luxurious, and the fabric was definitely thicker. They wicked and dried a bit faster than the 700 thread count. The 700 thread count cases are just as nice though!
They're soft and feel amazing on the skin, but thin and dry easily. I honestly can't choose between the two, but I can assure you they're both heavenly to sleep on!
