It took a few few weeks, but I can finally review this product honestly. I received these doggy probiotics complimentary, to test and review, and I can assure you they are worth purchasing. Especially if your dog is older, and suffers with stomach problems, or is predetermined to by breed. My dog, Buddy, is smaller (spaniel/beagle mix), and he is 8 years old.
Unfortunately, Buddy suffers from an over active stomach, and often pukes upon waking in the morning. This is a common problem I'm older dogs, and is caused by their stomachs not fully emptying over night. Their stomachs pool with bile and they vomit upon waking. We've been looking for solutions to this problem, and so far the only one was to feed him before bed, so the acid has food to eat at over night. That does work, but it's hard to get a dog to eat at bed time, unless you use special wet foods or people food... We want to avoid these things because our do is picky and will then refuse his dry food. So, we tried these probiotics. It took a few days of building in his system, but we saw changes! The doggy probiotics help tremendously with stomach and other digestive issues, including upset stomach and diarrhea. The probiotics help to stabilze the good bacteria and flora that occur naturally in the stomach and intestines. It's helped tremendously with Buddy's soft stools, and his upset stomach issues. My family is elated to have finally found an easy solution to our fur baby's tummy trouble!
